Petra teach American business man

Since 2006, the Confucius Institute of the University of Kansas has offered training in Chinese business culture and language to companies and business groups in our region. The Institute has a proven track record of developing training programs that are practical and enjoyable for business people engaged in professional interactions with Chinese counterparts.

Custom-designed courses can be delivered on-site, via distance learning, or as blended learning programs. The Confucius Institute also offers lectures, presentations, and briefings to businesses and business groups.

Business Training in Chinese language and culture covers material from the practical to the philosophical. In addition to business cards, dining etiquette, and other nuts and bolts of business interactions in China, our curriculum also explores the cultural norms, generational differences, traditional and modern values that drive decision making and shape interactions between American and Chinese professionals.
